Information we collect

We may collect contact information, service-request details, vehicle information and course-account activity when you voluntarily provide it or use authenticated services.

Location sharing

When you use Text Now, your browser may ask for permission to access your current location. If you allow it, your GPS coordinates and a map link are added to the text-message draft so dispatch can locate you more quickly. The website does not automatically send the message, and the location is not stored by the website as part of this feature.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to towing requests, administer client accounts, deliver assigned learning content, improve the website and meet legal or operational obligations.

Course portal and vehicle binder

Authenticated activity may include account creation date, last access, assigned courses, lessons viewed, progress, completion records, vehicle details, maintenance entries and workshop invoices uploaded by the account holder. This information is visible to authorized Jonny’s Towing administrators.

VIN-assisted vehicle setup

When you choose to decode a VIN, the portal may use an external vehicle-data service to populate available vehicle specifications. Decoded information can be incomplete or vary by market, so review it against the vehicle labels, registration and owner’s manual before saving.

Uploaded documents

Workshop invoice PDFs and images are stored in private account-controlled storage. They are used to build the selected vehicle’s maintenance binder and are not presented as work verified by Jonny’s Towing unless the record is explicitly identified as a Jonny’s Towing record.

Service providers

Website hosting, authentication, database, email and analytics providers may process information on our behalf under their respective agreements and privacy practices.
